Our organization, Set Free, and the “When You Are Ready” initiative understand that recovery work only works when working it. For ongoing effectiveness, our efforts must continue to focus on getting those suffering from addiction to understand the pain that fuels their addiction before they fatally overdose. Though pain is a great motivator, we know it will not keep a person motivated to stay in recovery permanently.
